Objective: The workshop’s main purpose is to present the outcome of the JESOR project (Resource-effective Cloud Data Center: Developing a dynamic data center management tool) and teach the basic concepts of cloud computing to students in the STEM Alex School in the Borg El-Arab branch. Workshop attendees: According to the attendance registration, about 24 students attended the workshop alongside the VIP guests from STRA-CITY and the project team. Prof. Hanan Ali welcomed the guests, presented an introductory talk about the City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications, and introduced cloud computing. In addition, she presents the available resources on SRTA-City Data Center (Hardware-Software). Professor Adel El-Maghraby introduced cloud computing and the innovation of connecting cloud computing technology with the industrial world. He provided several case studies of using cloud computing in various healthcare and field systems applications
