 Provide full knowledge about natural polymers and their potential applications.  Provide full knowledge about polymer composites and their potential applications for water treatment, drug delivery, and wound healing.  Provide practical skills about different techniques for preparing polymer composites as adsorbents for water treatment.  Provide practical skills about different techniques for preparing natural polymer composites as drug delivery systems and wound dressing.

Lecture: Introduction about polymer science and applications. Lecture: Introduction about Nano-composites. Lecture: Polymeric hydrogels and their applications. Lecture: Natural polymers and their composites for water treatment. Lecture: Natural polymers and their composites for drug delivery. Lecture: Natural polymers in bone tissue engineering. Practical: Synthesis of various adsorbents based-Natural polymer composites using various pollutants. Practical: Preparation of polymeric hydrogel Practical: How to prepare polymeric Nano-fibrous mats.

  • Practical: Preparation of polymeric microcapsules for drug delivery.
  • Practical: Preparation of wound dressing membranes for wound healing.
