December 6, 2026Agriculture is the cornerstone of achieving food security and sustainable development in countries worldwide. This industry is undergoing rapid transformations driven by scientific and technological advancements, increasing environmental challenges, and global climate change.
Agriculture in arid and semi-arid regions faces growing challenges, including water scarcity, soil degradation, climate change, rising production costs, and increasing environmental pressures.
In light of these challenges, the agricultural industry emerges as a strategic approach to translating scientific knowledge and modern technologies into practical applications that achieve food security and environmental and economic sustainability. Based on the pioneering role of the Arid Land Agriculture Research Institute in supporting scientific and applied research and serving agricultural development issues, this international conference is being organized as an international scientific platform. It brings together researchers, experts, decision-makers, and the private sector to discuss the latest applications, review obstacles, exchange scientific knowledge and practical experiences, and build shared visions for sustainable agriculture in arid environments.
Leading in supporting and developing a sustainable and innovative agricultural industry, capable of achieving food security and addressing environmental challenges through the integration of scientific research, technology and effective partnerships.
The conference seeks to strengthen the integration between scientific research and industrial application in the agricultural sector by providing an interactive scientific environment that brings together researchers, experts, policymakers, and the private sector. It aims to showcase the latest agricultural applications and technologies, discuss the challenges facing agriculture in arid environments, and develop practical, implementable solutions that contribute to achieving agricultural sustainability and maximizing the added value of natural resources.
Supporting the agricultural sector in arid regions by presenting and discussing the latest scientific and technological applications, identifying key constraints, and developing practical mechanisms to achieve agricultural sustainability through :
