Sports Day for Employees at the Research and Technological Applications City

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mona Mahmoud Abdel Latif, Director of the Research and Technological Applications City, the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research organized, in collaboration with the Workers’ Union Committee of the city, the activities of the Sports Day. The event included a friendly football match among some employees of the city and competitions in basketball, table tennis, chess, dominoes, table tennis, racket, and tug of war. The event was attended by Professor Dr. Mona Mahmoud Abdel Latif, the city director, Professor Dr. Mohamed Rashad, Deputy Director of the city for scientific and research affairs, Professor Dr. Abeer Abdel Wahab, Dean of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research, as well as the deans of research institutes, research faculty members, their assistants, and administrative personnel in the city. The event took place on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the headquarters of the city in the New Borg El Arab. Professor Dr. Mona Mahmoud Abdel Latif emphasized the city’s interest in human resources, physical fitness, and the health of its employees. The activities were aimed at encouraging employees to exert more effort in their work and emphasizing the need for further communication with them, not only within the workplace during meetings and work sessions but also through their participation in some sports and social events. The goal was to enhance awareness of the importance of sports and its role in the lives of individuals and communities.
