Mission
To support researchers by providing guidance and assistance in developing research proposals, facilitating access to local and international funding and scholarship opportunities, and strengthening engagement with global experts and institutions to implement collaborative research projects.
The Grant and International Cooperation Office (GICO) works to enhance researchers' awareness of available funding opportunities for research projects within the city. It provides technical support in preparing and submitting project proposals to relevant funding bodies. GICO also aims to build strong partnerships with international academic and research institutions by identifying scholarship and research opportunities and developing a network of international relations that pave the way for collaborative projects aligned with scientific and developmental goals.
